I soak my strawberries in vinegar, water and baking soda to clean it but the reality is that it is better to just buy “organic” or natural pesticide/herbicide free produce. Unfortunately, it’s a lot more expensive. 

10000% agree with everything you said. I wish produce came with labels for nutritional content

I’ve thought for awhile now that using weight as the sole measurement of produce creates a bad incentive.

We really need to work in nutritional content and also problematic compounds.

I always thought I could just get away with washing produce, but that seems like a naive assumption.

@bojo any ideas on how to decentralize these sorts of studies?
