50 isn’t the new 30. Mediocrity seems more palatable with cute slogans. It’s not ok to grow old without a legacy worth mentioning.

1. Kazi, after reading through most of the casts in this post, I wanted to tell you that the way that you are communicating your opinions comes off badly which is what instigates the fighting. Rather than calling people losers, plz remember that other people have different definitions of success.

2. I know we’re communicating over text but your tone reeks of privilege/entitlement. Some people are born in poverty and inherit trauma/hardship. Their greatest legacy they may want to bring to the world could be raising 4 healthy well adjusted children while making steady income. That doesn’t make them a loser.

3. Here’s what u cud have said, “I am passionate and driven. Here’s my mission and what I hope will b part of my legacy.” Adding in the end about how other people are losers, looking down on what they want their success to be, condescending about their choices. That’s what makes you look like a bad guy

I come from mud huts and abject poverty… two of my father’s siblings passed away at birth. I’ve faced racism because of my last name and the colour of my skin. I got stopped at TSA for a cavity search.. But I am privileged.. Privileged to be in the greatest country on earth with infinite opportunity.
