Though I ultimately passed on buying the Shark MessMaster, I found this review super helpful (watched at 2x speed): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sb0ZVaGnFXE&ab_channel=VacLab Costco currently has a version for $90 - slightly smaller/less powerful and missing the precision duster. https://www.costco.com/shark-messmaster-portable-wetdry-vacuum%2c-1-gallon-capacity%2c-true-grip-accessory-suite.product.4000249449.html I decided against it because, while it’s very powerful, it uses more electricity than a regular vacuum. Living in a city where my power bill hits ~$500/month, I couldn’t justify it—especially since I rarely need a wet vac. That said, if power costs aren’t a concern and you need a shop vac, I was genuinely impressed! It’s great at pulling water from carpet (26:49), comes with an extension rod, and I like that all the wet vac components are dishwasher safe. Downsides? You need to fully dry/clean parts when switching between wet and dry modes—but still, pretty convenient overall!
