To date one of my favorite Warpcast updates has been the addition of channels :) When I onboarded (pre-channels) I enjoyed using Warpcast but I felt some uncertainty when casting about my garden, cooking, and journaling. Now, with so many channels, it’s amazing to see how many topics people are discussing (art, fitness, travel, books, agriculture, and more). I feel so much more comfortable sharing about cooking and other non-technical topics 💜

I agree as well but also find choosing a channel to sometimes be a demotivating factor in posting!

Appreciate you sharing this! <3 Do you mind if I ask what specifically demotivates you? (e.g. overwhelming number of channels, no channels focused on your interests?)

I think it’s a combination of both! Sometimes, I'll ask someone which channel they think I should post a specific cast in, and they’ll suggest the channels that might get more views. But when I don’t have someone to consult, I end up with analysis paralysis, wondering if I should even post it if it doesn’t seem to fit an obvious channel. Other times, I’ll find a niche channel that seems appropriate, but when I post there, it either doesn’t get seen or it doesn’t resonate, and I’m left feeling like maybe it’s a skill issue on my part. 🤷🏻♀️

Thanks for sharing Karo! <3 I think my process is similar to yours where I will write a cast and then look for a channel that seems most relevant. Something I’ve been doing lately is whenever I start worrying about where to cast, I just cast in my own channel :)
