Weird situation where app devs building on Ethereum are making way more money than they ever had by just casually playing in Solana trenches (me included). Seeing the excitement first hand just makes you want to build there, especially with products like Yapster launching on Solana.

If it keeps going, has the potential to convert more and more devs over to Solana. For example, I'm playing around with some Solana ideas right now.

A product that is better suited for the types of users that use Solana. Same product built elsewhere has a higher potential of flopping.

can you describe the solana user vs (elsewhere) user? assuming more willing to degen on fun/silly vs more serious type

Yeah exactly, I think the best analogy is to gamers, especially those playing more competitively. Fun, PvP, make friends, potentially ephemeral. Yapster is a good example. Alon has tweeted about this recently about retail users and I think he's on the nose with it
