Taste is my own, but 

> minimal approach makes it cleaner and more modern to me
> 1 bright accent makes it “nounish” to me without being too loud
> feels elegant and spacious

I like this vision but my feedback would be that the seriousness of the serif font does not mesh well with the roundness of the bubble or the playfulness of the noggles. 

I think a bulky sans-serif font like polymath display black from oh no type would look great here.
