Trying to decide where to travel in Spain in November. Anyone have any favorite cities other than Barcelona and Madrid. And would they rank above or below those two cities?

Replied deeper in a sibling post, I can't recommend Val猫ncia, the South (Granada, Malaga) and the North (Basque Country, Santander, Galicia) enough

Considering to spend a year somewhere in Spain (me encanta mucho!) so the kids can enroll in school and really *get* Spanish. We loved 4 months in Valencia but schools 50/50 valenciano/castellano. Out of that list, where鈥檚 the best for 100% castellano?

There are lots of places. In my case Le贸n (my hometown), Asturias and Cantabria would be perfect. We love the beach and the mountains and Asturias and Cantabria deliver. Also the food is amazing.

Agree Daniel! I just recently moved to Asturias and it is one of the best places in the world. Looking forward to visit Leon soon.
