tl;dr you can’t group people by their generation in any meaningful way. If you could we probably would never have disruption, activism, or change.

The new political game is to use age as the defining way to pit people against each other. 

But, like every one of these games it serves only one purpose, to distract us away from class consciousness.

Race, religion, sexuality, gender, age, political beliefs are not singularly defining qualities. 

In fact the only meaningful group, coordinating to effect negative outcomes on the broader public is the capitalist class. 

Therefore, if you want to direct your anger somewhere, that’s where you should point it.

Great points here and in the quoted thread. Every generation does have its good and bad aspects. But it does strike me that so many of the boomers seemed enlightened and open-minded during the 70s but now mostly seem stubborn, self-centered and frankly brainwashed in my personal experience. 420 $degen

It's an interesting phenomenon. I'm already seeing some of my millennial friends trend toward more conservative, reactionary stances so maybe it really is just a function of getting older, being ingrained in the system and having more at stake.

Yeah as I pointed out, I suspect this is a process of being broken down over time. Ironically, and tragically, the thing  the thing the counter culture of that era was trying to usher in was freedom from becoming cogs in a machine, which so many of them did later in life.
