Question for my easily distracted kin: how smart are your watches? I sport a $10 Casio watch that does exactly as little as I need it to. Imagining an Apple Watch feels like a nightmare for me but maybe useful for others?

Got one gifted and was worried it would be super distracting too It was at first but now I have notifications on only for the people and things/apps that I actually really need to not miss or seriously benefit from seeing health/schedule wise (basically friends/family line texts, appointment reminders and activity tracking) Tough to say how helpful it is but itβs definitely got more pros than cons now

This seems like consensus I'm seeing: the cons (most of which can be disabled) are outweighed by the benefits. The battery life is a tough sell for me though π©

Yeah i feel that, I like the Oura battery a lot for this reason but the watch hasnβt been a big issue in practice as I thought it would be Usually wake up, if it needs charging I charge it while I shower and get dressed, charged fully by the time Iβm done. Or if at night I let it charge while I read and then throw it on after. Getting 3-5 days would be really nice though
