There’s always a narrative of: a future where people don’t know they’re interacting with a blockchain. What if the opposite is actually more interesting, when where it’s built is critical to its appeal, double down. It doesn’t mean the product doesn’t need to compelling. That should go without saying.

Seeing things develop in realtime is what first drew me into blockchains. It feels raw and there’s something satisfying about understanding emergent technology. Though I’m a minority (tech worker) within a minority (who enjoys crypto) within a minority (still around). The unsolved problem: where is everyone else?

As for global computer literacy, I think the very definition is hitting a fork soon. On one hand, people are more resourceful online than ever before, doing things never thought possible 10+ years ago. On the other, most of those people use phones and tablets without ever pondering what a line of code looks like.
