There’s always a narrative of: a future where people don’t know they’re interacting with a blockchain. What if the opposite is actually more interesting, when where it’s built is critical to its appeal, double down. It doesn’t mean the product doesn’t need to compelling. That should go without saying.

This is not about encouraging tribalism, but there are user benefits to where something is built. Especially if we want interoperability to be a thing.

Seeing things develop in realtime is what first drew me into blockchains. It feels raw and there’s something satisfying about understanding emergent technology. Though I’m a minority (tech worker) within a minority (who enjoys crypto) within a minority (still around). The unsolved problem: where is everyone else?
