remember when i pulled 13 million casts? that took ~4 hours

Something I think about more and more is how a lot of farcaster developers are likely solving the same problems and how it'd be better for everyone if we could either share the resources (APIs, codebases, compute power, etc) and not have to reinvent so many wheels over and over again.

Would be neat if @linda had a tab of all the open source Farcaster projects out there, someone wrote a scraper to collect all the casts + learnings + tribal knowledge, put it in a magic LLM blender, then spat out some official boilerplate repos that future devs could build atop of

Big time. Even for small stuff. Me and @jc4p were just talking about this wrt to implementing a shareable frame with custom images. 

We hit roadblocks on casts/cocktails that were so stupid, that only after deploy we figured out via community help because everyone was struggling in the same way, and that he now has solved to an art — but anyone else facing this would start from the same 0 as us initially. And I have a big audience so it’s extra unfair; easier for me to find help. 

We both independently had the idea to doc it and my lazy ass was relieved when he said he already started work 😜
