My mom made these, and I think her bakllava is the best. My grandma used to make an even better version. I'm very picky about my bakllava, but it's cool that there are many different versions to try.

I would say that experience matters a lot since you need to know how to handle delicate layers of phyllo dough and assemble them with precision. I think the outcome always reflects the unique touch and skill of the person who makes it.
