I spent most of my internet life overthinking it and it wasn't until I was pseudo anonymous and a total noob that I was okay shamelessly asking questions and sharing things about myself. I've enjoyed it way more than lurking!

That’s the mindset I’m trying to have! Glad to hear it’s possible to make the switch :) gives me hope.

+1 to this. I wasn’t really active on social media at all until Farcaster. Felt kinda liberating to share ideas, observations, and random thoughts I had. I feel like I’m part of a community here wherein I express a version of myself that I don’t in other facets of life. Which is cool and special, and much of which I attribute to not overthinking it. Definitely encourage you to not overthink and have fun with it @jsn !

Overthinking? I would get hot in the face when someone would misunderstand me or be rude toe for no reason lmao I’d end up over explaining like a nice little people pleaser that I am 🤡
