I recently discovered discbound journals which might just be the holy grail of journaling with ADHD. My wife got annoyed I invested in a bulky hole puncher for this new hobby, after having had many new hobbies quickly come and go in the past. Wait til she sees the $200 industrial paper cutter I ordered! 🫨

there’s a stationary store run by an Italian family a short walk from my apartment In addition to some award winning Japanese pens, I also walked away with some binder rings to make a custom discbound journal using the body of an old hardcover book as the covers

Boy do love a good stationary store 😩 Old hardcover book as a cover is brilliant!!! Would love to see how it turns out. I bought a sheet of raw leather with hopes my puncher can punch through it (prob not) 😆

ouh leather is a good choice! if the puncher doesn't work, try a thick nail to start a hole in it and then you can carve it out with an exacto knife will update when i have found the right hardcover - still on the search of the perfect one haha
