Your Daily Degen Tips

You receive a daily allowance of Degen tokens for tipping others on Warpcast. This allowance expires if not used each day. It is separate from the tips you receive to claim at the end of each month.

Reciprocal tipping, DON'T DO IT

If a person tips you, and you want to tip them back… do not tip directly in reply to their tip. It will be flagged for tip farming and both tips will be cancelled automatically. Better to tip on the original cast or a different cast so it's not removed from your tip points for airdrop

Swapping and Cashing Out Your Claimed Degen

You'll need some Ethereum on Base (ETH) to claim and swap your Degen tokens. It's recommended to have at least $5 worth of ETH on Base.

Buy eth on Base on Coinbase directly and send it to your wallet that your degen tokens are in, the last wallet you linked to your warp cast account if you have more than one linked. This is cheaper than bridging Eth to Eth on Base

Swap $degen to ETH on Base on uniswap.

Then I sent the ETH on Base to a Coinbase account to cash it out. This is cheaper than Bridging, once again.

i am out of tips today so this probably won't work but simply type the amount you want to tip + $degen, i.e.:

100 $degen

follow @degentipbot.eth and it will alert you if it worked, and your remaining balance

and be sure not to sore fly tip in reply to a tip, or the both get cancelled out for 'tip farming'

so if I tip you, don't reply with a tip like this: 

me: 100 $degen

you: thank you for the tip 100 $degen


it is better to tip the original cast or to find another cat of theirs to reply to

it was a lot lower a month ago, but if you do the math 10000 x .0555 (or whatever the token price is) equals five hundo for sure. i did the swap on uniswap at the link in the thread

Almost there, q for you if you don't mind. Got eth on base, now trying to get that initial 10k $degen. Does it make sense that it costs like $500 USD+ to get that? I thought it was a lot lower than that? Looking at uniswap to buy degen with base eth...

tip like this, type a number you want to tip plus the word $degen, i.e.

100 $degen

be sure not to do what's called reciprocal tipping, where you tip directly in a reply to somebody else's tip. The thread explains about that
