This convo! I’m a screenwriter & a filmmaker who does it all—writing, production & post. If I’m not on set or editing I’m writing every single day. Considering that a film can take weeks to years to complete it’s been interesting to consider ways to connect to an audience throughout the process & add value.

I’m deeply in love with my script. The days/weeks & time are bending. I’ve stopped showering & only nap during home stretch. I ache to be in the world & with the characters. attended RunwayML’s ai film fest last night. Take away: VFX + ai + mind blowing creative post sound design = 🙌 and also + live-action cine = 🙌 The filmmakers are gonna be alright.

Love this photo! Heavy feels. My old apartment down the way. Countless night-mornings at Buffa’s devouring food soaking up endless experience that now feels like another lifetime. It captures the safety, the feeling of walking into regular haunts to familiar faces with New Orleans in your blood. It will never leave.

An exploration that came from my deep fascination for the preservation of human skin that started with tattoo preservation post mortem. Now I’ve been able to dive into the future.
