Given the momentum behind EVM L2s, what’s the best argument you’ve seen for why a non-EVM chain or ecosystem will be able to attract developers?

Some developers (like enterprise and government) may prefer non-Ethereum L1s because of the lack of regulatory clarity around Ethereum. If you’re not using Ethereum for settlement and don’t need to optimize for network effects, then it seems like non-EVM solutions would allow for more cutting edge tech/languages.
