Tip for cold start: you have no topic and you don’t know where to begin … then just set a timer for five minutes and start typing away in a plain text file. Even if it’s “I am typing and I don’t know what to write now the weather is 80…” whatever you think just write. Mechanical start will yield real thoughts out.

Yeah I like this. I’ve been thinking about starting it just to make more of a commitment to staying the course and researching ideas properly. I think doing it for myself is the best intrinsic motivation
