the amount of reading have been doing this last month has increased by 10x. Have been reading the docs nonstop on AWS, Heroku & django. Site i just built felt like a graduation, it stretched the brain in every direction. now am trying to perfect all those steps just did, What an accomplishment 🎉

Coding projects, am finally up to using AWS in my django site linked to Heroku & github. What a journey it’s been & this feels like real pivotal time in my coding journey. i feel this hope for the future!! do you remember your first time doing all those steps 😄 it’s crazy difficult at first but totally glad i stuck with ps** i dont think anyone can see these anymore cause am not in any channels, huh

These are the food boxes we give out here, i really just volunteer/live in parking lot😄 but it’s a great thing too share food. You just line up and grab what ya need like a grocery store/farmers market, peeps are stoked, it wraps around the side as well.

Always hope to remember this time in life & reflect. Living in a church parking lot, coding away building websites. This first python job is pushing the skills to the limit & it feels great! Working outside yer comfort zone is what’s required to grow sometimes. My life is changing for the better & i can feel success as we speak cause of the skills. am in my 40’s & chose to do online classes the last few yrs to be better quality of life. Always evolving & willing to adapt, be like water as Bruce Lee says, or was that chuck norris 😄 anywho time to go feed another 150 families, big food box day at the church we give out tons of food all day, its my yin amd yang with the coding 🤓

Been laying awake since 3:30am waiting to go inside the church to code this website! Got my first Python website customer 🎉 but just didn’t want to wake everyone up inside yet using the lights & electricity to use computer this early😄 We got a 150 families to feed today plus i gotta get kitchen ready, packed schedule Super excited about everything life is good!

This guy comes into the church needing a place to stay, & as im sitting up talking to him getting him some food at like 1am, he uncovers this tower & plugs into the tv 📺 & opens up the command line for a linux 😄 He actually built it from scraps from trash in the dumpster!! 🙌🏼 but some of ya know i stay & volunteer at the church sleeping in parking lot & going door to door looking for website work now that learned how to deploy a django site atm, anywho, but i needed some help with coding, long story short the dude is able to answer some questions for me about coding!! You get help in the strangest places sometimes when ya need

Since deploying first Django site 2 days ago, i started going to door to door selling Websites🤓 so far all no’s & in this business ya gotta be able to handle rejection, but ya just go to the next person & ask them. did that with youtube subs just straight roots street level talking to real life people 😄

Unbelievably & finally after so many attempts & was one of the hardest things to fully build a site with python, django, html, css, js upload through vscode to github to heroku. getting packages like dotenv, pillow, gunicorn & i was fellin like a gooniecorn, Procfile, runtime. AI helped out so much when was stuck, actually think it got frustrated at one point & rolled their eyes speakin all slow at me (jk) 😄 Really ai is incredible. But a full site from start to finish, Doors have been opened. Over the yrs this had been a hurdle, feeling incredible! ✨ also there’re so many steps from start to finish, going to write them out so others can get that rollin

So close to actually deploying first site in Django on Heroku its just misconfigured a lil & wont load! This will help me soo much i been stuck in tutorial loop & not knowing how actually deploy a python site. Was trying to sell static sites but just using github pages cause free. Django gives customer nice backend. Honestly i live in my truck & want to have this niche while on the road so i can live a bit better. Also here’s a quick vid of a Bobcat rollin up while am coding 🐈

Ok lets talk options for ios developing with Windows. what are best options in your opinion? next.js, react, Xcode extension on VS Code? hmm so much to think about. cause Swift seems like js so far so should be able to do it on Windows except apple policies. was hoping just to upload some html,css, & js Viola’ (Newbie app dev but played with some of it few yrs ago) 🦉

yesterday 2 mice kept running at the grass towards me, so i kept walking up so they’d run back. Than eventually said to myself, maybe they’ve somewhere to be like a mouse hospital, or a mousey school or late for work. So on their next attempt i said let em do there thang & they ran past. Right now they’re prolly talkin about their big journey & adventure & this big ogre (me) they had to pass. Hope they made it to their destination safely. 💜🌍

welp guess am learning Swift 💻 there’s actually a lot of useful ideas. really just wanted to deploy a few simple apps on ios but Swift is the main so figured freshn up for more app ideas. but u can see how fast adding like geo tracking etc can really give a more robust app. any of ya like swift or pros & cons with it
