Yesterday I received a surprising (in a good way) DC from @rev. They transferred ownership of the /vr channel to me.

Grateful to rev for trusting me and excited to bring together more VR enthusiasts on Farcaster. 

When VR news happens I still go to X to see what my VR friends are saying. I want to bring more of those insights here.

My first real experience, first gen HTC Vive. First experiences were interesting but not entirely captivating, Fallout 4 in VR and maybe a couple other things..

It wasn’t captivating until i got the Valve Index and Half Life: Alyx. That’s when I knew we were closer than ever to something amazing.

I often wish I could replay Alyx for the first time again. Awe inspiring.

And it was peak covid lockdown in NYC so it was the escape I needed.
