do you think crypto communities will stay on discord? what will they adopt in its place? curious if others will follow nouns footsteps

I think the top 1-5% will make their own ecosystems (website, app, maybe even a place to chat) if needed, and the rest will use discord. The security problem is not a fundamental flaw, they just don’t care right now. It is not hard to add wallet auth, they just have no incentive to do that right now.

Also the “noise” problem is the fact that people are in 50+ communities. Sure, discord could improve notification setting UX, but all that does is help you ignore communities that don’t actually matter to you. Any aggregator of “important” notifications typically means: more value extraction, less participa
