good insight, I think the secret for men here is to learn how to purposefully cultivate boom and bust energy in specific areas/contexts of their lives, instead of being artificially manipulated into it by external forces

exactly, instead of just draining that energy off into draft kings, getting creative with structuring how you make bets, betting not just with money but with time, energy, learning, spirituality etc., using the energy to spin a flywheel of your goals instead of letting it spin you towards others ends
