How do you feel about recruiters being at events? One of my colleagues got denied a pass to an event today purely for being a recruiter - he’s really passionate about crypto and spends so much time helping others in the office understand the tech. Does it hinder the experience?

I though crypto is for everyone tbh

As someone who hosts and organizes events regularly I don’t usually approve recruiters unless it’s relevant for the event. 

1. I don’t want anyone from the team to be poached at an event we’re hosting 
2. With limited space I optimize for attendees with the most relevant job focus
