Landing a job in Web3 while based in the UK is hard because as is, everything being built is based out of the US. I mean, asides from the fact that everyone wants to hire a senior dev.

They are but so much is remote! Job seeking is challenging on the spirit I know but don’t lose faith. What have you done outside of applying so far? I know you’re great at networking. Have you contributed to any projects to grow a portfolio?

I do agree, there is so much remote, but the greater percentage are remote in the US. Good thing I haven't just been applying, i've been learning Solidity so I can be fullstack in web3 and increase my chances. Most of my OS contributions were web2 focused, but should start contributing in Web3 really soon.

Yes defo do that. Also if you can get into rust that’s where we are seeing the biggest demand right now - solidity always needed too though.

Thank you for the encouragements! What’s the request rate for GO? Is it as requested as Rust? Because I am torn between the two. I’ll have a look into one of them in a couple of months. Really leaning towards Rust though
