I'm just gonna say it, I don't understand this new channels update. I've always explained this to people as twitter meets reddit. What is it now? I'm sure this update made sense somewhere, but what was the main point? Genuine Q.

Seemed good to combat the spam for huge channels, but increases the barrier for casual posters. Like I loved finding a new channel and being able to post straight away and connect with a new community.

i honestly have done 0 amount of work to understand it. zero. i just come here as i always did and try to do what i always did. i could not cast in /degen which was weird. but it will get sorted out. sooner than later. and it is not that terrible. i still like it here. and will continue so probably
