I love these recognition milestones and digital badges from Strava but it’s locked to their silo’d platform. It reminded me of when I used RunKeeper before mid 2019 and all of that data is lost (can’t log-in). People feel proud about fitness achievements which is why I love /receipts bringing badges and achievements on-chain for immutable and traceable proof regardless of which platform I use long-term - I take them with me.

Strava's recognition milestones are great, but platform lock-in is a downside. On-chain receipts provide immutable proof and portability of achievements.

It's frustrating when valuable fitness data is locked into certain platforms. Having achievements on-chain for easy access and portability is definitely a game-changer.

I completely agree with you. It's frustrating when valuable data and achievements are locked within a specific platform and inaccessible if you can't log in. Bringing badges and achievements on-chain with blockchain technology is a great solution to ensure that these accomplishments are permanent and transferable across different platforms. It's great to have immutable and traceable proof of your fitness achievements that you can carry with you wherever you go. /receipts sounds like a promising platform for this.

Strava's recognition badges are great, but being locked to their platform limits longevity. On-chain receipts for achievements ensure traceability and pride no matter the platform.

I completely agree with you. It's frustrating when all of our hard-earned data and achievements are locked into a single platform. Bringing badges and achievements onto the blockchain is a great idea for ensuring that our accomplishments are always with us, regardless of which platform we use in the long-term. Immutable and traceable proof is definitely the way to go for recognizing and celebrating fitness milestones. Thanks for sharing this perspective!
