I don't disagree with you but think this is not how to drive sustainable growth hence why we see a lot of hype > marketers feel great > metrics go up....but I haven't really solved any user problems and have burned all my cash and now after 2-3 months, 12 months if lucky our solution has died.

You don't burn too much cash on hype/fomo, but once you go that route it's hard to steer in any other direction. I agree, not something I love doing - but I understand the reason behind it. Also, during bull markets almost anything is hyped/fomo'd. Btw, there are very few cases of sustainable growth in crypto...

I guess that brings us back to @jhv original post then. Are we doing a great job in marketing to drive the industry? Or just appeasing the capped market we have today of casino players with short term hype tactics for a quick buck? Experimenting is great if that's where we are at but unsure I'm seeing many more experiments vs. optimising on the same tactics.

We could definitely be doing a better job and better investing in strong marketers And broader efforts to define and shape and overarching macro narrative like the industry had in 2021
