Does ENS need to create its own L2 chain or nah? I want to use my .eth address everywhere.

why are you thinking L2 chain for pure ENS? what would be the benefits? how would that make ens resolution available everywhere?

my POV is that more apps that have accounts need to enable ENS. one big hurdle in making ENS available in Apps is doubling API needs. imo we don't need ENS deployed somewhere else just easy plug and play so that you can have ENS in the app you build without needing additinal mainnet API queries + keys

ens resolution and input anywhere a wallet string is also accepted where dev is not doing more effort than max 1 minute in additional setup in my opinion would get us there. to me thats why I am curious to hear what your line of thinking for ENS L2 is that solves the Development pain
