Clearly the "competition" seems to be Telegram for chats.

I didn't include discord in the poll though and some replied with it. So discord would be other here

I think colocating a channel for the forum reddit style and having the groupchat in there would be the endgoal for me.

Tbh i far prefer farcaster channels to group chats. Narrowcasting also fills some of the gap created by the broadcasting nature of public social

Super hard to keep up with multiple group chats, just end up muting and forgetting about them

what do you like most about it and what do you dislike?

Telegram. I was against group chats a few months ago, but from recent experience, Telegram has been great so far

probably discord, primarily because of markdown support
