Defaults like Warpcast USDC rewards being sent on Base reinforce the (inaccurate) perception that Farcaster is coupled to Base / Coinbase

I think this is one of the main issues slowing FC's growth. There hasn't been much frames activity on other EVM chains or Solana, but that's not the egg — it's the chicken (IMO)

Where else though? There will always be noise

There's no easy solve, but treating Base as the canonical default is what leads to poor optics

Ideally ETH (doesn't do well for small payments) or giving the user the choice of EVM rollup / Solana

True maybe farcaster should lean more to other chains—Still don’t know why we connect Sol addresses till now

because a community member PR'd it. Though not many sol builders here (no sol tx support outside of you generating an embedded wallet in a frame)

They can but it needs to be built first for devs to come here and Merkle has no demand so they won’t build it

Tough.  I imagine farcaster as more of an all crypto app, would have been magical if they supported SoL with ETH. They can co exist.
