We wont be building a chain but theoretically someone could.

Optimistic rollups could definitely use Jolt (or other zkVMs) as a strategy for efficient and auditable fault proofs, or to convert fully to a zk rollup.

I'm personally pretty excited about non-blockspace applications as well such as light clients.

Awesome - will be watching what Jolt evolves into!
