I just set my dad up with a burner card and showed him how to swap ETH to USDC on @base and put some money into @pooltogether and there are a lot of aspects that have gotten a lot better. It was still obnoxiously hard to do and also explain what each step was doing. 

Not that it should matter but this guy is a software and hardware engineer and only retired a couple of years ago. I was going to do the same for my mum but it’s gonna be too hard!

Definitely way too hard. Wallet connect requires way too many click and it’s not intuitive at all

Yeah we were doing it all from his phone and while it’s great that you can do it unless you know exactly what to press and when it’s basically impossible

I think if connecting/auth became as simple as face ID/Touch ID with passkeys that synced we would be set

exactly. it’s basically only for crypto natives bc it would be impossible to figure out otherwise
