I just set my dad up with a burner card and showed him how to swap ETH to USDC on @base and put some money into @pooltogether and there are a lot of aspects that have gotten a lot better. It was still obnoxiously hard to do and also explain what each step was doing. Not that it should matter but this guy is a software and hardware engineer and only retired a couple of years ago. I was going to do the same for my mum but it’s gonna be too hard!

actually wasn't that bad with my brother recently, he wasn't into crypto at all, the age is the difference though I suspect :) have you tried him to go through farcaster sign up and so on?

I did the same thing with a friend of mine and a burner card Definitely way too hard. Wallet connect requires way too many click and it’s not intuitive at all

Pro tip, on the cabana UI you can swap directly from anything in your wallet into the deposit token. Makes it MUCH easier :)

This is good feedback! What were his questions? What confused him? There is a PoolTogether frontend for beginners, have a look here: https://classic.cabana.fi
