Why is nuclear becoming the energy darling when solar is so clearly better? Solar is already proven to work at a variety of scales, has little-to-no downside, and needs to only become more efficient and ubiquitous.

My country has started using solar at a huge rate. Almost every other home has solar panels. We have them too and it has made life so much easier. On the industrial scale there is a long way to go but I hope solar is the future
