I was a healthtech recruiter before and interviewed alot of ppl who took time off of work for a bunch of reasons - taking care of their parents, moving due to their spouses jobs, having a family, and ofc sabbaticals. 

Maybe assholes wouldn't hire you, but anyone would be lucky to have you even after your sabbatical!

And you don't want to work with assholes anyway ;)
