My U.S. suppliers are being squeezed for tariffs right now, so they offered me the largest discount I've ever seen them provide. They are losing customers, unfortunate.

1. Yes, but they are expecting to hurt for cash so they are front loading sales to offset losses or tariffs later. A few of my friends have shipping containers stuck at ports and they have to pay the 106% markup even though they paid before the tariffs were implemented. So it’s possible they put those products on sale to bootstrap the release of their other tariffed containers
