I am interested in your career advice thoughts since I’m at an important one way door - I currently earn great salary doing good job at good company A - another good company B wants me to do sales Company A - base (total) comp is equal to base + bonus at B - we make an AI product and I do data analysis & decent career pathway - growing very fast, sells to public sector Company B - higher talent density & well networked - they sell procurement software, growing very Very fast, sells to everyone - they want ‘smart young generalists’; that vibe Both are kind of boring sectors where startups which win do really well, TAM is bigger for company B Company B feels risky because idk if I can do sales. But maybe the payoff would be higher? If you were making this decision, what would be the key factors for you?

Optimize for what you’re good at, you like, and you’ll be paid well for. And ideally you have at least two of these things: you like the company culture, the pay, or the actual work. Whichever fills 2-3^ of these items is the company for you. Wdyt?
