When my children were young, I never saw the end of parenting.

Now that my children are adolescents, it is very difficult and I sometimes have a hard time emotionally.
But what is different from before is that I am nearing the end of my child-rearing career.

I will be celebrating my birthday at the end of this month.
For better or worse, it's time to think about what I want to do and how I want to be when the kids are grown and I have time for myself.
