Constantly wishing I could invest in creators - recent pick would be Colt https://www.youtube.com/@ColtKirwan (I'm not convinced that it's actually a viable model but I think I'd be good at it)

There are VC funds that do this such as SKKY partners, Kim K’s VC fund. Apparently they were looking to raise $1b. https://fortune.com/2023/05/16/kim-kardashian-private-equity-investment-firm-social-media-followers-skky-partners/amp/

I think organic creators like youtubers, artists, etc. vs celebrity level is quite different (former is much more interesting to me) but I could see Kim being v good at the latter

I think investing in creator-backed businesses is a great idea, and very likely more profitable than what I'm describing, but different In the example of Colt - my bet is that his personal brand will grow, he'll get more sponsors, etc. and I want to enable that growth by giving him money to spend on gear, travel, etc.
