Interesting. What are the features of a  “main character” theory of reality? Ideas:

1) video game where one (or more?) biological being is jacked into a world of NPCs
2) only my consciousness exists?
3) I am a perspective (a soul?) separate from my body

Most people seem to live from first person perspective. A big step in many meditative practices is to step out of that. In a true verifiable sense, everything you experience IS you.

5) The success of my character depends on expanding or refining a certain range of skills that, progressively, are only available to me.
