can explore openrank scores for coins on farcaster. coins derive ranking/reputation from buyers/owners. spammers/snipers will rank low.

@jalil +1 on making channels permissionless legos (enshrined on the protocol) but we're still a few iterations away in finding PMF for channels. we've been working with 300+ channel mods to help them manage and grow their channels with tools like @curabot. Merkle's been adding whatever functionality/API we've requested for channels so far. my guess is once we find PMF, we should have a good idea of what/how to enshrine on protocol. my north star for channels as a primitive - enable permissionless communities on the internet with a sovereign tech+treasury stack (namespace, data, algos, wallet, incentives).

great piece on communities, trust and tokens. "the most surprising take comes from the memecoin space. The most active and engaged crypto communities aren’t necessarily those with the most sophisticated governance models—they’re the ones that have created an identity people resonate with. Memecoins work because they tap into an emotional layer of belonging, humor, and shared experience."
