openrank scores are going to be onchain (this week) - making them verifiable and trustless. 

in the last 3 days we've got many requests to put openrank scores onchain.
right now frames, clients, neynar and token communities like degen/rare use openrank scores directly via APIs.  

it's been exciting to watch this programmable x crypto x social meta unfold. we've accelerated /openrank roadmap to serve builders cracking and clanking. 

with openrank scores, a bunch of onchain use cases will be unlocked once the scores are available trustlessly:
- prevent snipping on @clanker (access to early trading based on rank/reputation)
- onchain agents can do transactions based on user reputation scores
- agents themselves can have reputation scores
- asset scores based on reputation scores of creators and holders

yes we've relied on APIs for now. extra benefit is able to add progammability or contract logic if scores can be called/used by another contract.

the centralized calculation is a different vector. with openrank, we publish proofs of correct compute, means scores can actually be verified cheaply.

could've been solved using standard API points. what's the extra benefit from getting it on-chain? As anyway there's a centralised potential point of failure / manipulation..
