No idea. Just think it's a sensible onboarding strategy for apps to pay for users' on-chain actions. Perhaps also good functionality for Eth L2s to add if they want to be competitive with Solana for app dev

Makes a lot of sense! Wrote a hackathon project that used Solana's functionality to let third parties pay for on-chain transactions so apps could pay for users to interact with a zk verification oracle and get a token. Idea was the payment could come from an app's anti-spam budget https://github.com/saarw/nymcred

It's ok for specific teaching sessions Pair/mob only tends to be the norm in extremely dysfunctional teams that can't get anything done otherwise, or when management can't evaluate output and hope people will watch each other from dodging work (some consultancies even sell this "benefit" to clients)

Almost. The rise of the nation state came at the expense of the church. Network states hope to capitalize on the weakening of the nation states They're not necessarily filling the role as a moral guide, but rather the administrative role that organized religion used to serve

Retention is especially tricky with social products as it's influenced by network effects Curious what a community-focused distribution strategy would look like for Farcaster to avoid people leaving because their friends don't join at the same time 🤔 (Zuck and Bier on-boarded a specific school each time etc)

The people who build ports probably don't accept military surplus gear from the 70s as payment (even though it has a book value in the billions)

Long-running randomized intervention study? Or the usual confounded blame-one-thing-health-conscious-people-do for the totality of healthy living? Usually just fails to control for health-ignorant people moving less, smoking more etc (and eating fried food)

Been writing cloud policies in rego recently (an Open Policy Agent language) It's like coding smart contracts for some immature overly-clever L2 chain The chains that leverage pre-existing languages and tooling made the right choice

Sucks for European builders and companies, but perhaps the politicians get to watch and learn how AI-driven unemployment plays out in the US before it becomes an issue here

Isn't the change to show content from accounts that have blocked you? Seems like Musk is hoping to grow engagement from crazy people who get excited by posts from people that blocked them

Well-deserved. He can't criticize big brands without risk of getting excluded from future news drops, so he trashes smaller brands so mids will think he's an honest and balanced reviewer

Their main selling point is to provide better UX than Jira so it's natural to want to control all parts of the experience at the deepest level

Their #2 ranking seems dubious as it is currently being counter-invaded by their #18
