Nothing frustrating but I wish it were easier to request joining a channel as a member. Usually it’s not explicitly said anywhere how you can join and the current default seems to be DCing the admin, which is a lot of friction. I think it’s also quite confusing for new users and will make it harder for their posts to reach anyone. Not sure if it’s a practical solution but adding a dedicated section to channels on how to join would maybe help to incentivize admins to make it explicit. Or giving admins the option to add a button or something with which the membership can be easily requested.
