Does anyone here who heard of "the housing theory of everything" disagree with it? If so, why? It basically posits that the shortage of housing in Western countries is a fundamental issue that exacerbates a wide range of societal problems. https://worksinprogress.co/issue/the-housing-theory-of-everything/

Very interesting read. Thanks for sharing! I agree with the general argument that expensive housing creates a lot of problems, BUT I think the article mashes together several problems which it wouldn’t have to IMO. Eg the obesity problematic is not because of expensive housing but because of wrong city architecture.
