Finished Infinite Jest. Excellent, thoughtful, frustrating. Definitely the most “now draw the rest of the owl” of books. 🤔 Now do I infinitely redigest to figure out what happened… or just read this? http://www.aaronsw.com/weblog/ijend

That book has been on my shelf for so many years but I haven’t yet worked up the gumption. Same for Ulysses — waiting on the proper amount of quiet time which I will prob never find. Ha.

“If no such convergence or projection occurred to you, then the book’s failed for you.” Wow, harsh. I can’t say, since I abandoned hope before I got to the end 😅

Depends on how much you enjoyed the book! It’s nice to read it with a companion text, if you want to do a re-read. Stephen Burn’s reader’s guide is great. The book covers a lot, but if you haven’t seen Cronenberg’s Videodrome (1983), check that out. Wallace was heavily inspired by it.
