Wines are absolutely fat-free, but the stronger and sweeter they are, the more calories they contain, and the more sugar and alcohol in the drink, the higher its energy value. Dry wines have the least calories. A bottle of such wine contains about 500 calories, and a glass of wine with a volume of 150 ml - just over 100. Fortified and sweet wines are the most caloric. A bottle of dessert wine contains at least 1275 calories. WebMD experts explain that wine is a rich source of antioxidants, contains potassium, iron, manganese, phosphorus and vitamin B₆. If consumed in moderation, wine can benefit your health in the long term, having an anti-inflammatory effect, strengthening blood vessels and reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease. In turn, drinking large amounts of alcohol leads to health problems: weight gain, heart disease, liver disease or alcohol addiction.

Absinthe is a drink obtained from the extract of flowers and leaves of wormwood. The alcohol content in it is from 70% and higher. Due to such a serious strength, absinthe was long considered not just a drink, but a narcotic, hallucinogenic drug, therefore until the middle of the 20th century it was banned in many countries.

To make an Aperol Spritz, you’ll need just a few simple ingredients. Here’s what you’ll need: 3 parts Prosecco 2 parts Aperol 1 part soda water Ice Orange slice for garnish It’s important to use good quality Prosecco and Aperol to get the best possible flavour. If you can’t find Aperol, you can substitute it with Campari or another bitter orange liqueur.

Drink slowly. Take your time with your drinks and take breaks between glasses of alcohol. This will allow your body to better absorb the alcohol and reduce the risk of getting drunk.

Margarita cocktail recipe: 1. Chill the glass in the freezer. Make a salty rim by first dipping the rim of the glass in water or lime juice, then in a saucer with salt. 2. Fill the shaker with ice. Add all ingredients. 3. Shake well and strain through a sieve (strainer).

Place ice in an Old Fashioned glass, pour in gin, Campari bitters and vermouth. Stir with a spoon and garnish with a thin slice of orange. #negroni
