Funny thing is that my mom offered to help out financially with Tezcon when I mentioned that we were having issues getting artists paid.

Funny, because my parents have never given me money for any of my crazy projects, even once, but as soon as someone else needs something, they are there. 😂

One thing that Tezos doesn't sell enough, imo, is the fact that our community is very wholesome and "family friendly". That is a huge draw for people who don't identify as "degen" so it's just something to keep in mind.

If you're gonna market, market the stuff people care about.

Fully agree with that. I remember when I first stumbled upon the tezos art scene. Felt so different to other places, in a really wholesome way.
