They're largely fine you just don't wanna use them when they are super scratched up I mostly use stainless steel for day to day and have a nice quality non stick pan largely just for eggs

yeah, even though i'm careful, they get scratched sooner or later. and tbh i don't want to eat that crap 😂 so i'm looking for alternatives (ceramic, stainless...)

haha I feel that! really fkn hard to beat nonstick when you need it, but I think everything else is more or less designed to stick so you get that delicious fond! but I think it's fair to avoid making it your everyday use!
